Born in 1955, I joined Victoria Wine in 1985 and progressed to Branch Manager in the colourful and ethnically diverse East End of London. I developed my product knowledge there with much bottled homework, winning a Scholarship with the Wine & Spirit Education Trust in 1991.
In 1992 I stepped into adult education becoming a Wine Tutor at various colleges in Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire and Rutland.
Some time after that I started giving one-off Wine Talks to organisations and societies such as the RAF, the Civil Service, Women's Institutes and Town-Twinning Groups.
Throughout I have incorporated as much design and illustration as possible which reflects my Fine Art background (graduated in 1979). I continue to work in adult education, with Stamford and Peterborough as my main hub.
